This paper explores the intersection of spirituality and environmental stewardship in the Indian context; it argues that traditional Indian spiritual philosophies play a significant role in mitigating the effects of climate change. By fostering a deep sense of interconnectedness with nature, promoting sustainable practices, and inspiring community engagement, spirituality serves as a powerful tool for environmental consciousness and action in India. Climate change is a pressing global issue, and India, with its diverse geography and socio-economic complexities, faces significant challenges in addressing this crisis. Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) play a pivotal role in climate change mitigation by implementing sustainable practices, raising awareness, and influencing policy. Through qualitative and quantitative analysis, this study highlights the initiatives undertaken by Kanha Shantivanam and the broader impact of NGOs in combating climate change in India.
